The poetry prompt for today is lists. Use or write a list to inspire your poem. Right now I have someone special in my life, so I wanted to write about what they mean to me and used that as inspiration for my poem. Enjoy!
Reasons I Love You
You are always there
Your long brown hair.
Your beautiful slate blue eyes
How you always listen to my rants and cries.
The little ways you help me out
Including the ones I don’t even know about.
You’re interested in what I have to say
The warm hugs you give at the start of each work day.
This list too short my reasons too few
Just keep on being your wonderful handsome you.
