The prompt for today was to take inspiration from the Proust Questionnaire which asks questions that reveal truths about you. I decided to run with one question in particular: What is your prized possession? Enjoy!

My prized possession has no monetary value
Not my jewelry or fancy clothes
Not my electronics or pretty trinkets
But rather a plush yellow dog
Freddy.
A plush toy given to me before I was born.
A reminder of joy and childhood mirth
A story of where I have been
And a reminder that I will never be alone.
The one thing that has been with me through everything.
